Sunday in the 8400 block of West Sunset Boulevard. Witnesses said the gunfire appeared to break out on the trendy ninth-floor lounge atop the 1 Hotel West Hollywood.
What Happened
A man was struck in the lower leg and rushed to a nearby hospital by Los Angeles County firefighters. His condition was not immediately known.
Sheriff’s officials said they had not yet determined a motive.
Circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
A second round quickly clarified the danger.
