The announcement came as the streaming platform marked a decade of operations in India. The series, Operation Safed Sagar, described by Netflix as its biggest and most ambitious India production so far, was highlighted as an example of the wider economic impact of its.

Sarandos said productions made in India create employment, support businesses and strengthen the country’s creative and technical ecosystem. The project involved more than 850 local businesses and over 200 cast and crew members.
