Murthal dhaba gets a robot waiter to serve food, customers can't stop taking pics

The unusual addition brought a tech twist to the traditional dhaba experience, with customers pulling out their phones to record videos and take selfies with the robot. At Resham Dhaba, the robot delivered food directly to customers’ tables after orders were prepared.

The food tray was placed on the robot, which then used its navigation system to follow a designated route and reach the customer’s table on its own. The robot was operated using a software chip and remote control.

What Happened

Its exterior was made of fibre and featured LED lights in its eyes, including glowing red lights that gave it a distinctive appearance. Once fully charged, the robot can provide service for around two hours.
